Embrace

This work is about embracing, but not necessarily someone else.
More like yourself. Or a feeling. Or something you don't really know how to place, but that is there.

Embrace is a kind of rolled up head. Everything is pulled inwards.
The lips are clearly present, but the rest pushes together.
As if the head is trying to hold on to itself.
Or maybe just letting go of something.

It is not a typical hug. It is searching for something to hold on to.
For softness, in the middle of chaos.
I made this when I didn't really know where I stood — so I went in.

This work is an embrace without arms.
A feeling of: I don't know either, but I'll stay here.
